Reason for Recall: 

This recall is being issued due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the product. The contamination is linked to Iranian Pistachios, which have been banned by the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

Although the product undergoes a heat treatment process and both the Certificate of Analysis for pistachio input and the finished product testing have returned negative results for Salmonella, the recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure due to the source of the pistachios.
